Foundation Music School is seeking a teacher to lead Family Music and Preschool Music classes beginning June 3, 2024.

Early Childhood Teacher: The Early Childhood Music Teacher position would include teaching approximately 2-4 Family Music and Preschool Music classes at FMS per week, as well as traveling to in-home and private preschools to provide music classes on a weekly or every-other-week basis.
Family Music classes engage children ages 0-5 and their caregivers in various music experiences including bouncing, instrument playing, singing, movement to music, peek-a-boo and other developmentally appropriate music experiences. Preschool Music classes engage children ages 3-6 in developmentally appropriate music experiences including instrument playing, ensemble play, learning rhythmic and melodic language, movement to music, singing and more.
Early Childhood Teacher Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in music OR training in an early childhood curriculum (i.e - KinderMusik, Musikgarten, Let’s Play Music, etc.). Previous teaching experience is preferred. The Early Childhood Teacher candidate should be able to sing on pitch a cappella and when accompanying self on uke/guitar, have strong musical leadership skills, energetic, able to communicate clearly with directors and parents, creative, organized and a team-player.

Compensation: Between $27.00-$30.00 per hour, commensurate with education and experience. Teaching hours are paid hourly.
