Instructors
Kelly McCallum, MM, MT-BC: Kelly is a board certified music therapist with 9 years of experience working with children with and without special needs in group and individual settings. Kelly received both her Bachelor and Master of Music degree from Colorado State University, where she studied piano and music therapy. In addition to being the Director and President of the board of directors for Foundation Music School, Kelly leads music therapy sessions and teaches Family Music classes; Music Makers classes; private, group and adaptive piano lessons.
Nicole Wilshusen, MM, MT-BC: Nicole is a board-certified music therapist with 7 years of experience teaching piano lessons and working with children in a variety of settings. Nicole teaches Family Music classes; private, group and adaptive piano lessons at Foundation Music School. In addition to her work at Foundation Music School, Nicole is on staff at Colorado State University in the music therapy program.
Crystal Malinski, BA: Crystal is a registered Suzuki Violin Teacher (Books 1-4) with seven years experience teaching violin in both individual and group settings. She also has five years experience working with children with special needs in a variety of settings. She is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Music Therapy at Colorado State University. Crystal teaches private and group violin lessons at Foundation Music School, and also serves on the Board of Directors.

Jennifer Swanson, BM: Jennifer Swanson received a Bachelor of Music Performance degree from the University of Northern Colorado.  She has taught both early childhood music classes and classroom preschool and kindergarten music since 2004.  In addition to teaching music to young children, Jennifer is active in the area as a musician.  She currently performs as 3rd Horn with the Wyoming and Cheyenne Symphony Orchestras, as the horn with Simply Brass Quintet and Touch of Brass, and as a freelance musician in the Northern Colorado area. She also teaches lessons and masterclasses in horn performance to students of all ages.
