We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified part-time early childhood music therapist and violin instructor.  Please see below for descriptions.

Early Childhood Music Therapist:

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in music therapy or degree in progress
  • Experience working with preschool aged children
  • Experience facilitating group music therapy sessions
  • Fun, exuberant personality
  • Creativity and flexibility
  • Commitment to high standards
  • An ability and willingness to learn and work by Foundation Music School’s standards
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to effectively work with people of all ages, backgrounds and positions
  • Passion for working with children of all abilities
  • Reliable transportation required 

Compensation / benefits

  • Hourly salary based on qualifications & experience

Violin Instructor:

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in music or degree in progress
  • Extensive experience teaching privately or in a music school
  • Fun, exuberant personality
  • Creativity and flexibility
  • Commitment to high standards
  • An ability and willingness to learn and teach by Foundation Music School’s standards
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to effectively work with people of all ages, backgrounds and positions
  • Passion for teaching students at beginning and intermediate levels
  • Experience teaching young children through adults
  • Experience teaching group and private lessons
